Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Team Up for Comedy Skit

Disney lovebirds Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are set to tickle fans in a new skit for Will Ferrell's comedy website FunnyOrDie.com.

  The High School Musical stars, who are real life boyfriend and girlfriend, teamed up with Hairspray director Adam Shankman at the filmmaker's Hollywood home on Tuesday to shoot the sketch.

  Socialite Nicole Richie and actor Thomas Lennon also appear in the comedy short, with the Reno 911 star portraying Efron's Uncle Hank, who disrupts the hunk's A-list party, reports OK! magazine.

  An on-set source tells the publication, "It was a quick shoot and everyone had a blast!"

  The segment will soon be unveiled online, but Efron fans flocking to see his new film 17 Again will be treated to a special viewing. The skit will premiere in U.S. cinemas later this month prior to the movie's start.

Tori Spelling Slams 'Anorexic' Allegations

Actress Tori Spelling has blasted rumors she's suffering from anorexia after recent photographs of the star prompted fears for her super slim frame.

  The 35-year-old mother-of-two has sparked speculation she is battling weight issues, with one U.S. tabloid claiming she now weighs just 98 pounds.

  A source alleged Spelling's weight had plummeted as a result of the stress caused by her estranged mother Candy's memoir Stories from Candyland, in which she details the pair's strained relationship.

  The insider told Star magazine, "It's not good. Tori's so stressed over her mum's new book, she has no appetite but is still exercising every day. Her friends are all worried that she may be anorexic. She's now down to a size zero."

  But the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star has hit back at the claims.

  Her representative tells news show Access Hollywood, "She does not weigh 98 pounds."

  Spelling herself recently laughed off gossip about her personal life and her troubled relationship with her mother, insisting, "You have a sense of humor about it because, you know, it doesn't stop. One week everything is good, next week everything is bad."

Dane Cook Admits Twilight Announcement Was April Fool's Joke

Comedian Dane Cook has been forced to apologize to fans after tricking them into believing he had landed a part in the forthcoming Twilight movie.

  The Good Luck Chuck star posted a message on his Twitter.com blog on Wednesday announcing he had joined the cast of film sequel New Moon.

  But he took to the social networking site again on Thursday and admitted it was all part of an elaborate April Fool's Day joke.

  He writes on his webpage, "I'm proud / sorry to admit I am not going be in the new Twilight film. To all the people that wrote and said 'WTF (what the f**k) DANE TWILIGHT IS CRAP' - I know you are thrilled. To all the people that said 'daaaaannneeee I'm so happy 4 uuuuuu and can't wait to experience the vampire LeCook' - I know you feel duped.

  "I thought the April Fools of it all would be tipped ...off (by) ...the fact it was APRIL F**KING FOOLS DAY!!!!!!"

  And Cook is stunned by just how gullible people can be - after his fake announcement was picked up by several other news sites just hours after his posting.

  He adds, "One thing I want to point out. Over a few short hours several websites... ran with it. If you wonder how all the bulls**t and lies about your favorite artist end up becoming some odd world fake-fact actualities there you have it.

  "Just because someone posts youtube videos/blogs doesn't mean a damn stitch. It's all superfluous crap unless it comes DIRECTLY from the person you are interested in listening to."

David Cronenberg Praises France During Honor Ceremony

Eastern Promises director David Cronenberg has received France's highest accolade,  the Legion d'Honneur, and thanked the nation for understanding the "complexity of the artistic process".

  The auteur, famed for his grizzly and shocking cinematic style, was honored in his native Toronto, Canada by Francois Delattre, the country's French Ambassador, who presented the star with the coveted award.

  The prize recognizes Cronenberg's film accomplishments and his services to French culture.
  And as he accepted the honor, the movie maker - who won the Cannes Film Festival's Special Jury Prize in 1996 for the movie Crash - . told his audience that he would not have been the creative force he is without the French culture as inspiration.

  He explained, "Thank you all for your indulgence. Vive la France, vive le Canada et vive la cinema.

  "I see this medal as a talisman, an amulet with magical powers that makes it a shield against punishment, punishment for the committing of the crime of art.

  "France has always understood the complexity of the artistic process - the tension that exists between the innate wildness of art and the desired order of society."

Sienna Miller Visits Josh Hartnett in Hospital

Actress Sienna Miller has rushed to the hospital bedside of pal Josh Hartnett, according to reports.

  The Black Hawk Down star was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles hospital on Monday and is currently under observation for a gastrointestinal disorder.

  And Miller made sure he wasn't lonely during his recovery, paying him a fleeting visit on Tuesday, according to X17.com.

  A source tells the website, "Sienna had just 24 hours to fly all the way to L.A. to see Josh. She was very concerned and wanted to be sure he knew how much she cared for him."

  The pair was rumored to have enjoyed a fling together last year when Hartnett was starring in a U.K. production of Rain Man.

Osbourne Show in Jeopardy After Outrage

The future of The Osbournes' new reality TV show has been thrown into jeopardy after its troublesome U.S. debut on Tuesday night  - the program doesn't have another scheduled air date.

  The show, which comes seven years after the family first shot to TV fame, sees the Osbournes take on the variety format, and contains the foul-mouthed rants and expletives which became the family's trademark.

  But the Osbournes: Reloaded faced contention even before it hit the airwaves - when bosses at Fox network's Florida affiliate WPGX refused to screen the program, insisting it was too lewd for viewers.

  And it seems other local American broadcasters followed suit, with 11 per cent of U.S. viewers unable to catch the show's debut after network bosses vetoed the racy program.

  Bosses at Milwaukee Fox affiliate WITI-TV were hesitant about screening the show straight after family-friendly American Idol, and chose to air the Osbournes: Reloaded at 1 a.m. (CDT) the following day.

  But officials at Fox headquarters can't understand the furor surrounding the episode - insisting it went through all the necessary industry checks.

  A rep for FOX tells WENN, "Osbournes: Reloaded was thoroughly vetted by our Standards and Practices department to ensure it was appropriate for broadcast during the scheduled time period.

  "If any network affiliate feels the programming may be inappropriate for its individual market, however, it has the right to preempt the program."

  Despite the negative press, the rock n' roll clan can still celebrate - Osbournes: Reloaded pulled in an average of 9.3 million viewers.

  A spokesperson for the Osbourne family refused to comment.

Lindsay Lohan has once again been forced to hit back at reports she has split from lesbian lover Samantha Ronson - after she turned up to promotional duties without the DJ in tow.

  The star and her partner have been dogged by break-up rumors throughout their turbulent and highly publicized romance.

  In February, the couple was reported to have split after they failed to commit to hosting duties at a St. Valentine's Day party in Florida. The story prompted the actress to address the rumors - telling the press their relationship is "fine".

  And last month the duo's love affair was purported to be in trouble again after a furious bust-up at the DJ's home resulted in a smashed window.

  Now, Lohan has taken time to insist she is still very much with her girlfriend - as she attended the launch of a new fake-tan product without Ronson by her side.

  Lohan tells E! Online, "Those rumors aren't true. We aren't broken up."

  And a source tells the website that Lohan and Ronson are spending time with the other people in their lives - like any normal couple.

  The insider explains, "They've been spending time with their families and working. It's normal and healthy to do that. That doesn't mean they broke up!"
