Busta Rhymes Would Quit Rap For TV Career
Busta Rhymes would jump at a
chance to pursue a career on the small screen - and would happily hang
up the microphone if he was offered the big bucks to swap rap for TV. The 'Touch It' hitmaker, real name Trevor Smith, is an avid follower of
actor Hugh Laurie's medical drama 'House' and the hit crime series 'CSI'.
The hip-hop star has tried his hand at acting with small roles in films
like Shaft in 2000 and 2002's 'Halloween: Resurrection', and admits
following in Will Smith's footsteps and landing a role in a TV series
would be a dream come true. He says,
"Yes I would (pursue a full-time TV caree. I'm a big fan of House. I'm a big 'CSI: Miami' fanatic.
"And they pay good. The Will Smith money is still crazy, 'Fresh Prince
of Bel-Air' and all that. I got to know about what that syndication
money look sic like."
Smith started out his acting career in the
popular comedy The 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' before catapulting to
superstardom with roles in blockbuster movies like 1996's 'Independence
Day' and 'Men in Black' in 1997.

Emily Blunt Wants To Dance With The Stars
British actress Emily Blunt has
begged television producers to give her a place in the the next series
of 'Dancing With The Stars' - because she is obsessed with the TV talent
contest. The 26-year-old is a massive fan of the U.K. version of
the programmed. Strictly Come Dancing, and has always wanted to join the
celebrity cast on the dance floor.
And Blunt has vowed she will definitely take part in either of the talent shows if she is offered the chance to compete. She says,
"Strictly Come Dancing is an obsession for my entire family. I don't watch much TV but I like that show. "You will see me on Strictly or the U.S. version, Dancing With The Stars."

Madonna Donates To Italy Earthquake Victims
Pop superstar Madonna
has reached out to the victims of the recent earthquake in Italy - donating a substantial sum to the ongoing rescue effort in area where
her "ancestors" are from. The country's Abruzzo region was struck by tremors on Monday, killing over 200 people. The town of Pacentro, where Madonna's paternal grandparents lived until
1919, was severely affected by the disaster, prompting the region's
mayor to appeal to the singer for help.
Madonna has responded by donating a $500,000 sum to the relief effort, according to 'People.com'. The star says in a statement,
"I am happy to lend a helping hand to the
town that my ancestors are from. My heart goes out to the families that
have lost loved ones or their homes."

Lindsay Lohan Opens Up About Samantha Ronson Split
Lindsay Lohan has compared her
split from girlfriend Samantha Ronson to scenes from her 2004 movie
'Mean Girls' - insisting the last few days have been "absolute hell". The couple ended their turbulent romance at the end of last week amid accusations that Ronson cheated on the actress. Lohan prompted rumours of a split on Friday night when she
took to her 'Twitter.com' page to rant at her partner - calling Ronson a
"cheat".
The actress claims the DJ ended their relationship on
Friday and stepped up security at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont hotel to
stop her attending a family party. The next day Ronson was
seen changing the locks on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with
Lohan and was rumored to be considering a restraining order against
her former lover.
Lohan has now spoken out about Friday's incident,
calling it the "worst night" of her life, and admitting she is baffled
by how the romance ended. She tells 'UsWeekly.com',
"It's been
absolute hell. The worst night of my life. I'm not a bad person and
this is what happens. I was raised to treat people well, and I'm so
tired of this drama." And Lohan insists that all of her friends
abandoned her during the crisis - likening the situation to the
bullying girl gangs of her hit teen film. She adds,
"I feel so
alone. Everyone's turned on me. I'm a f**king 22-year-old girl who's in
love. I felt like I was in 'Mean Girls', but worse: Mean Girls was a
movie. I'm just really hurt! The whole situation is sick."

Derek Hough and Mark Ballas Talk to HTV!
Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, and the rest of the band played their entire set for their fans, even though it was pretty wet outside. DWTS pals usually come out to the concert, and such as Tony Dovolani, who came out to support them!
Derek tried to show off to HTV cameras by sliding on the slick pavement from the rain. Derek also informed us right after the taping that David Alan Grier was voted off of this week's show.

Snoop Dogg and Crew Roll Out of Avalon
The Doggfather himself was at Club Avalon in Hollywood on Tuesday night after he performed at an event being held at the venue.
Snoop and his crew left the nightclub and hung out in the parking area for a few minutes before leaving. In true Snoop fashion, his sunglasses remained on him at all times, even though it was late at night! Soon before leaving, Snoop removed his glasses from his face.
After Snoop and his entourage figured out whatever they needed to figure out in the parking lot, Snoop was seen leaving the club in a black car sitting in the back seat.
We bet Snoop put on a great performance!
Kristin Cavallari Gives A Smile
The reality star could not stop smiling as she left the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday night dressed in all black and spending some quality time with a girlfriend.
Kristin was on the phone as she made her way from the hotel to her awaiting vehicle. It almost sounded like she was giving the person on the other end of the call directions!
After getting into her car, Kristin mouthed a "bye" to our cameras. Thanks for the love Kristin!
Samantha Ronson Steps on the Gas
Our cameras caught Lindsay Lohan's ex girlfriend driving her black Porsche on her way out of the very famous hotel in West Hollywood on Tuesday night.
Sam looked very eager to leave as photographers snapped away. She was driving solo in her vehicle as she waited as patiently as possible to turn onto Sunset Boulevard.
Could she have been there to see and chat with Linds? Only time will tell!
Gavin and Gwen Spend Time Together
The proud parents went out to eat at Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. We're not sure if what kind of party they were there for, but we saw Gwen carrying in a big white box with green ribbon around it!
The couple snuck into the eatery through the back and were seen smiling and laughing with their friends.
Although the didn't let us know how Kingston and Zuma are doing, we were delighted to see them out together and having some time to themselves like all couples need!

Nicole Richie was spotted having dinner with singer Eve on Tuesday night at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. The girls sat at a large table with several other friends.
Nicole and Eve sat on opposite sides of the table. The soon to be mommy for the second time was seen smiling and laughing. Nicole even took her camera out and started taking pictures with her friends while Eve appeared to be in a deep conversation with someone else at the table.
