Lindsay Lohan's film career has been dealt another blow - her latest movie will not be released to cinemas. Labor Pains will premiere on cable TV in America in July before going straight to DVD in August. In the film, Lohan plays a woman who fakes pregnancy in a bid to keep her job. The actress has completed just one movie since her 2007 flop I Know Who Killed Me, and recently lost out on the lead role in director Tim Burton's forthcoming remake of Alice In Wonderland.

She also pulled out of Dylan Thomas biopic The Edge of Love, and was replaced by Sienna Miller. In a recent interview, the actress revealed she's working on a new movie with Oscar winner Sean Penn.

Lindsay Lohan has blasted the media for portraying her as "spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional", and hampering her Hollywood career in the process.

The Mean Girls star is frequently in and out of the headlines for her allegedly turbulent romance with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, as well as verbal run-ins with her father.

But the 22-year-old actress, who has spent time behind bars and in rehab for drug and alcohol issues, insists she is no longer the party girl she used to be - and she's simply trying to focus her energies on her stalling movie career.

She is urging critics to leave her and DJ Ronson alone and stay out of her personal life - because she just wants to do "positive" things with her fame.

Lohan tells E! Online, "They need to stop saying we're fighting. People (are) telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I'm really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work. The only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal.

"I don't drink, I don't do drugs and I don't lie. I love to act and write and be creative, and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it."

And Lohan is also fed up with the obsessive devotees that buy into all the tabloid gossip about her - claiming they are the ones fuelling the press interest in her love life.

She adds, "All the sicko fans and the noise is so distracting... If (only) people would just stop judging me and accusing me and making me out to be this aloof, spoiled, ungrateful and unprofessional person that I am not and could never be."

Lohan has completed just one movie - the upcoming Labor Pains - since 2007 flop I Know Who Killed Me, and recently lost out on the lead role in director Tim Burton's forthcoming remake of Alice In Wonderland. She also pulled out of Dylan Thomas biopic The Edge of Love, and was replaced by Sienna Miller.

In a recent interview, the actress revealed she's working on a new movie with Oscar winner Sean Penn."

Lindsay Lohan in Another Car Crash

Lindsay Lohan has been involved in another car accident - her third crash in less than three weeks.

Lohan and her assistant were caught up in a smash in Glendale, California, on Monday night when the actress' Maserati rear-ended a Subaru vehicle, damaging the left front bumper of the luxury sportscar.

The Mean Girls star was a passenger in the Maserati, while her unnamed assistant was driving, according to JustJared.com.

Lohan was previously involved in a crash at Jack Nicholson's Hollywood Hills home earlier this month (13Mar09), when she drove her Mercedes into a gatepost outside the property, after being let in to escape the paparazzi.

She was involved in another incident just days later (16Mar09), when her driver clipped a gate while escorting the star home from a night out at Los Angeles' Sky Bar hang-out. Lohan is currently serving a three-year probation order relating to her 2007 driving under the influence (DUI) conviction.

Lindsay Lohan  has hinted she could turn her back on acting for good - because she has more fun as a high-fashion model. The 'Mean Girls' star has struggled to carve out a successful Hollywood career since she shot to fame as a Disney child star, and hasn't starred in a big screen project since 2007 flop 'I Know Who Killed Me'. More recently, Lohan has relied on special appearances and modeling shoots to remain in the limelight.

But the star isn't too upset that the acting offers have dried up - admitting she'd love to pose for the camera full-time. She tells 'Nylon magazine',

"I love doing photo shoots. I mean, if I could just sign with IMG modeling agency and do ad campaigns and model more, I'd do that . . . because that's fun for me. That's not work." And it seems Lohan's modeling ambitions could come to fruition - IMG boss Ivan Bart is keen to give the star a chance. He tells New York gossip column 'PageSix',

"She's a beautiful girl and obviously knows a lot about fashion. Providing that she was contractually free, we would take a meeting."

Lindsay Lohan Begging Seth Rogen To Call

Lindsay Lohan is appealing to actor Seth Rogen to get in touch - because she is desperate to star alongside the funnyman in a new Sean Penn movie. The 'Mean Girls' star reveals she's in talks to appear in a forthcoming film by Oscar winner Penn, but the pair's attempts to contact 'Knocked Up' comedian Rogen have so far been ignored. She tells America's 'Nylon magazine',

"I'm talking to a lot of people right now. One is Sean Penn - I spoke to him again the other day. We're trying to get Seth Rogen for this project, but Seth won't call us back. So call us back, Seth, if you're reading this!"

Lindsay and Sam Try To Leave

Uhoh! Help! Lindsay Lohan and Sam are stuck and they can't get out!

The duo left Villa night club in West Hollywood Thursday night when they had some issues backing Sam's car out of the celeb hot spot. Too many paparazzi wanted to try to get a picture of the two girls that security had to come out to assist.

Lindsay was busy on her cellphone, possibly Twittering away to her fans?

Either way, we hope these two had a great night on the town!

Lindsay Lohan and Jane Fonda have led the tributes for tragic actress Natasha Richardson, who died after suffering serious head injuries in a skiing accident. The 'Maid in Manhattan' star, who was married to actor Liam Neeson, was taken to hospital in Montreal, Canada after the incident on the slopes of Mont Tremblant on Monday. Neeson rushed to her bedside at the Hopital du Sacre-Coeur de Montreal as doctors battled to save her. He flew her to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York on Tuesday, where he was joined by the actress' mother Vanessa\ Redgrave and close friends and family.

She was removed from life support on Wednesday morning and died hours later. Now, Lohan, who played Richardson's daughter in the 1998 remake The 'Parent Trap', has revealed her fond memories of the loving Brit. She says,

"She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own. "I didn't see much of her over the years but I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss."

Hollywood veteran Jane Fonda, who first met Richardson when her 'Julia' co-star Redgrave brought her on-set of the 1977 movie, regrets she couldn't visit the actress because she was busy with performances of her Broadway play 33 Variations. She says,

"I first met her on the set of 'Julia'. She was a little girl but already beautiful and graceful. It didn't surprise me that she became such a talented actor. "I wanted to go to the Lenox Hill Hospital where I was told she had been taken to see if there was anything I could do for Vanessa Redgrave, any comfort I could bring but today was a two-show day and as the curtain went up tonight I heard the tragic news. It is hard to even imagine what it must be like for her family. My heart is heavy."

Lindsay Lohan is receiving Hollywood help in the form of Baldwin brothers Daniel and Stephen as she battles to regain her former star power after rehab, according to her father.
An arrest warrant for the Mean Girls star was dismissed by a California judge on Monday following a legal misunderstanding, but the matter scared the actress' father Michael into speaking out about his daughter's recovery.

Lohan is still on probation in relation to a 2007 drink driving conviction, and her father insists she is getting the advice she needs from the Baldwins.  Speaking before the arrest warrant was dismissed, Michael Lohan said,

"I am very concerned for my daughter. I've said it before and I'll say it again - she has to be careful of the people around her. I worry about any of those negative elements in her life.  I know that Stephen and Danny Baldwin have reached out to her to help."

The Baldwins have connections to Michael Lohan - Stephen is a fellow born-again Christian, who is reportedly working on a reality TV project with Lohan. His brother Daniel is a recovering addict.  They're not the only stars reaching out to help Lohan - Mel Gibson and Warren Beatty have both offered to help the actress if she needs it.
