24 star Dennis Haysbert was out dining at Orso and teasing the paparazzi a little with his New Years resolution that he won't share. He worries about the paparazzi in traffic and when asked if he's more tired of questions about President barrack Obama or Allstate Insurance he replies "you know, I never get tired of any of them."
Dennis believes he helped pave the way for Obama with his portrayal of a black president in 24. The Daily Star report him as saying "My portrayal of David Palmer helped open the eyes of the American people.
"As far as the public is concerned it did open up their minds and their hearts to the notion that, if the right man came along, a black man could be president of the United States."

And yet the Kief adamently denies they had any impact on the Presidential race. Sutherland can deny it all he wants, who wouldn't want someone like Palmer as President?
